Tank Farm Bunding Walls
The works were carried out to comply with the latest Environmental Agency legislation for the Control of Major Accident Hazard Works (COMAH).
To comply with the requirements we constructed reinforced concrete bundwalls capable of containing the volume of the largest storage tank plus 10%.
The total area of phase one is 2800 square metres and comprises 300 metres of bundwalls to be designed and installed as well as reinforced concrete ringbeams, the installation of a rainwater collection system and reinforced concrete paving to the entire area.
Additional works include the installation of new tanker loading gantries, construction of an electrical switch building and a pipe manifold area.
