Design and Build

The building provides 300 square metres over three floors with the technology work- shop on the ground floor & art department on the first and second.

The atrium with glazed roof allows daylight to flood the galleries on the first and second floors and lighting levels generally are computer controlled to respond to natural light levels and keep energy use to a minimum.

Energy requirements are further augmented by the solar panels positioned on the flat roof as well as the use of recycled rainwater in the toilets. The passive ventilation system adds to the overall efficiency of the building.
